1.Warehouse temperature
The CHG rolling mill bearings are coated with anti-rust oil before leaving the factory. If the temperature is too low or too high, the anti-rust oil will deteriorate. The room temperature should be controlled between 5-25 °C, the maximum should not exceed 30 °C, and the minimum should not be lower than 4 °C. Otherwise, it should be used temperature control measures, and storage warehouse should avoid direct sunlight.
2. Warehouse humidity:
Excessive humidity will rust the bearings and the relative humidity of the warehouse should be between 45% and 60%.
3. Warehouse environment
The bearings are preferably stored separately. When they must be stored together with other items, the other items that are in the same place must not be chemicals such as acids, alkalis or salts. The bearings should be placed on a wooden pole 0.2m away from the ground, away from the heating pipes and sinks and water pipes.
4. Regular inspection
According to the national GB/T8597 "Rolling bearing anti-rust packaging" standard, the rust-proof period of bearings is divided into six months, one year and two years. The rust-proof period of the bearings that need to be installed in the short-term is half a year, and the rust-proof period of the general rolling mill bearings is one year. The calculation start date is based on the date indicated on the product's factory certificate. According to the anti-rust requirements of bearing products, check every 10-12 months. If the oil seal package is found to be rusting, it should be re-sealed.
5. Horizontal placement
CHG Rolling Mill Bearings with an outer diameter of 200mm or less can be placed horizontally on the shelf. Extra-large bearings should be stored horizontally on the wooden pallet to avoid elliptical deformation of the bearing.
